Error "Video was not accepted" Lync 2013

Pertanyaan

Hello guys!
I'm testing the Lync 2013 and I'm having trouble with my computer/lync client. I can't see my video and the video from my contact in the conversasion. Using the Windows 8 App, all works fine! Like a charm! However using the Lync 2013 Client from Office 2013, can't see video, the video from my contact, as you can see in the image below, is an gray "image", and my is my picture only, the audio and the others features works great! This happens only in my machine. Someone can help me with this problem?

Best regards,
Ricardo Vieira

The solution is to disable Hardware Accelleration for Office 2013. While Lync does not have a setting where you can disable it, it can be set up in preferences in Word 2013. Another option is to create a specific registry setting, and Lync will honor it. Restart Lync and it will work.

From registry :
Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\Graphics
DWORD: DisableHardwareAcceleration = 1

Or

"File" menu in the ribbon , click on "Options". Click on "Advanced" tab , "Display" section You will find the "hardware graphics acceleration"
